Maxillofacial and Facial Aesthetic Surgery is conveniently located on the first floor of the Grant Medical Center Parking Facility at the corner of South Sixth Street and East Town Street in downtown Columbus. The parking entrance is off South Sixth Street across from the Grant Medical Center Emergency entrance.

Our office and surgicenter is designed for confidentiality. Our patients never see each other. Three waiting rooms and a strategic flow pattern guarantee confidentiality, both preoperatively and postoperatively. Patients' names are not revealed to anyone by any member of our staff.

The patient will go to the Suite C waiting room for the first visit with us. The first examination and consultation will occur in Suite C. This first appointment usually takes 2 hours and there is no fee charged.

Our state-of-the-art surgicenter (Suite B) is in the same building, however, has a separate entrance from the hallway. Our operating suites and recovery rooms are constructed to JCAHO standards. We maintain the strictest sterile criteria for our separate operating suite area, even when this area is not in use.

We prefer a general anesthetic for most procedures. We believe this is the safest anesthesia to use for facial aesthetic procedures. Our practice has performed hundreds of thousands of outpatient general anesthetics without morbidity or mortality. During surgery, there are actually three professionals trained in general anesthesia present at all times.

We have an arrangement with the Hyatt on Capitol Square (2 blocks from our office/surgicenter) to accommodate our out-of-town patients or any patient who has multiple procedures performed. Often we recommend that one of our nurses or our Fellow stay in an adjoining room for the first night, if multiple procedures have been performed. There is no charge for the nurse's or the Fellow's time.
