Dorothy Mauck, R.N. uses a digitalized instrument to place pigment under the top layer of the skin to enhance eyebrows, eyelid margins and lips. This technique is also used for scar camouflage. If not performed with another facial aesthetic surgery procedure under general anesthesia, a local anesthesia is administered by a physician so the patient has no discomfort during the procedure.
